(Video) "Validation"

A dear friend sent this motivational video to me a long time ago, and after I finally took the 20 minutes to watch it I was SO glad that I did. I still watch it occasionally, and today I thought I'd share it with you. :)

"Validation" is a short film about what happens to people when somebody starts believing in them, even when they don’t believe in themselves. I'm reminded of a quote that was always hanging on a banner in my martial arts studio that said:
"People have gone further than they thought they could… simply because somebody else thought they could."
Sometimes all we need is a little bit of "Validation" to help get us through the day, or perhaps, even to change our lives forever.

Can you believe that nearly 7 and a half MILLION people have already watched it?

If you don't, then you will after you watch it. :)

I hope you enjoy this short inspirational movie as much as I did, and I hope you're having a wonderful day!

If you liked this short movie, you'll LOVE you'll LOVE this! :)

Thank you Chris for sharing this. It is so incredibly timely for me. I am about to head out on a 5 month bike, hike, van trip to nowhere in particular (my version of eat, prey, love on a shoestring). Just me and my wounded inner child who is looking for validation to heal. Your video has inspired me to reframe my trip to my ‘validation tour 2017’ where I not only look for instances of validation towards me but I become the validator to all I meet along the way. The video you posted made me realize we all have a wounded inner child who wants to be seen, heard and/or understood. I am not unique. I can appreciate and love my inner child by validating others ( by giving to others what my inner child would like to receive) ?
