We always recommend first consulting the sizing chart for the item you're purchasing. This is because each style and material fits slightly differently, based on a variety of factors including which company manufactures the shirt you are considering.
If you're still unsure which size to get, we recommend going one size up from your normal. Many of these sizes tend to be "true fit" and most people find that a size up gives them a little breathing room.
